for the TLDR people, game publishers essentially finding out the hard way that making massive AAA titles that require a small army of devlopers and multiple studios is not sustainable in the long run
But I should stress clearly optimism is still important in rebuilding as we have to believe we can build a better government out of all of this. Insisting it will be impossible and/or take years to fix everything only serves to discourage people from trying
Its not optimism alone that will drive the desire to rebuild but also straight cold hard vengeance. I do think Republicans are woefully underestimating the fact that the next generation of Democrats are not going to be as forgiving as the previous one.
