Sure do miss being able to lie on my side and belly and getting more than 2-3 hours of sleep at a time
Those of us who embrace our hirsutism rather than go through the discomfort and pain of constant shaving, laser treatments, etc. are automatically labeled "trans" whether we consider ourselves to be that or not. My gender queerness tends to translate in people's minds to "oh so you're MtF."
I don't take offense to this assumption, but it does put me in the same danger that other trans people face who actually have transitioned away from their birth assignment. Even cis women who just naturally have masc features get targeted and accused of being trans. It really is just blind hatred.
It also sets a dangerous precedent for those of us who are AFAB and have beards due to hormonal issues. Hirsutism isn't spoken about nearly enough, especially for how common it is. I've had people point to my beard and say it's proof that I was born male because "only men can grow beards."
