Queer representation, joy, and liberation cannot be had at the expense of black folks. We all need to do better about actionably supporting the people and causes we say we care about.

One of the grossest things to come out of this fandom is how people have showed they're perfectly okay with black characters being cut from the narrative if they get fanservice for their ships in return.

The caitvi and vanco crumbs as good as they are just cannot outweigh for me the fact that the immersive Arcane stage play cut out the majority of the black characters and then relegated Mel to a side character/eradicated her storyline
