Arthur: The Quest for Excalibur was released 37 years ago today on June 6, 1989. Written by Bob Bates It was Infocom's 41st & last game. Activision who had acquired Infocom in a merger on February 12, 1986, fired all but five of the Infocom employees on May 5, 1989 & closed down the Infocom offices.
