No such thing as a bad idea? If you’re found to be a monopoly your company just gets nationalized so we can go back to having things like Bell Labs doing pure science JUST IN CASE they can use said science to make something new.

if we really want to get nuts here, and just really brainstorm in a "no such thing as a bad idea" way, you could even set up some kind of legal apparatus that could go in and like, break up companies if they became "too large." i realize that's goofy but just trying to prompt a discussion here
