Note: no "T. rex cells" were used for this. Collagen sequences synthesized from osteological collagen from a Tyrannosaurus fossil were used. The resultant artificial leather lacks the actual microstructures that would have been present in actual T. rex skin.

Surviving Earth avoided the things I was worried about and excelled at everything I hoped it would do well. It isn’t 100% satisfying in that the informational aspect is a little slim, but I’m also intimately familiar with its subject material. This is a perfect show for newcomers to palaeontology.
