A sitting congressman took the USS Liberty conspiracy to the House floor. For decades this myth has been a top recruitment funnel into antisemitism online.
What lives on 4chan and InfoWars now gets dedicated time on the House floor. Congressional leadership and members should call this out.
Any increase to the Nonprofit Security Grant Program should be welcomed. Every extra dollar helps ensure people of all faiths and beliefs gathering to pray, learn, celebrate, and mourn together can do so without fear of violence.
But we still have a long way to go.
