And the Andesaurus solo shots. In my heart I want to be a large carnivore guy, but I have so much more fun with large herbivores. I loved working on the shapes for this one, titanosaurs have such rotund bellies and thick necks!
Next in the Gem Dragon illustrations I did for Dungeons & Dragons The Book of Dragons is my favorite. You may have noticed the somewhat controversial design feature but instead of cowardly ‘fixing’ it, I leaned all the way in.
This is dragon 2 of 5
I got the chance to do updated artwork of the Gem Dragons for the new book: Dungeons & Dragons The Book of Dragons. I worked waaay too hard on these, I'm extremely proud of them.
This is dragon 1 of 5
I got to do a fun pair of statues for Showanna studio again! When they told me they wanted me to do a Giganotosaurus next I just had to nudge them to also produce an Andesaurus to go with it. Really happy with both of these reconstructions. They'll eventually be available in 1/35th and 1/18th scale.
Here is some solo shots of the Giganotosaurus. Both statues were designed to work as their own independent scenes or together as one large scene.
Some more pics. Paint job was done by wnbb. It will be available in 1/35 and 1/18 scales.
Had the pleasure of making a sculpture of Sue the Tyrannosaurus rex for SHOWANNA Studio. 🦖
Pretty pleased with how this one turned out, I got to nerd out on all of her unique pathologies. The old girl lived a hard life!
"Oh, my God"
"What is it?"
"It's a birdcage"
"For what?"
My 3D anatomical study of a large male Pteranodon longiceps. The skeleton is a generalised composite as per usual with my models, but is scaled to UNSM 50130 (a very large and almost complete wing)
Apparently not only is Nanotyrannus valid again according to a recent paper, but also a second new species of it has been named.
So, have some Nanotyrannus lethaeus running animation.
