I am not one of those idiot leftists who start spouting about jury nullification because they're too lazy to do their civic and moral duty. Not getting selected accomplishes nothing. Getting selected means you have the chance to help make sure the defendant is treated fairly.
Hate that there was a reason for it to happen but love seeing the #bikeChi come together like it did tonight. So many people we stretched across at least 8 blocks while riding. And the amount of marshals we had between @bikegridnow.org and @femnthembikechi.bsky.social So many amazing people. 1/2
The hardest people to marshal tonight were the fucking cops. A few were alright but so many just plain disrespectful. They clearly despise this city and the people in it.
