wow. some of my colleagues do not know me AT ALL.
just got forwarded an email asking if i’d be interested in attending a conference hosted by the state’s “Probation and Parole Association.”
like sure, lemme just go get my “Abolish Police” t-shirt and i’ll be right there. lol.
i have a conference to drive to and attend tomorrow and i’m already up too late to get decent sleep 🙃

watched last night. excellent movie.
based on a true story. great characters & a poignant framing for the importance of journalism under authoritarianism. i will def be reading up on the 1980 Gwangju Uprising.
did not expect how moving this film would be. will be thinking about this one for awhile

two weeks after Little Fish’s diagnosis.
we just got back from his first round of fluid therapy. it went well. (now just have to master trying to do it at home! 😬)
the vet tech said he’ll likely have a burst of kitten energy tomorrow from feeling better 🩷
as i predicted, i did not get proper sleep for today’s conference 🤷🏻♀️ - but it was a great experience.
and the hosting campus was very cool 🤩

a week after Fishy’s diagnosis. based on vet recommendations, tested out some kidney diet food this week - some of which he actually liked! (and he is picky!)
next week will be looking into starting fluid therapy.
this is all new to me, but i am determined to do the best i can for him 🩷🩷🩷
