Happy D line extension day, Los Angeles!
Rode the D for the first time this morning to get to the Hollywood Climate Summit. From Mt Washington to Beverly Hills via bike and one train transfer in less than an hour. Manifesting this kind of car free future for our whole city.

Found this picture of the wonderful David Kendall from the '23 strike. Even in this group shot his brilliance, humor, and kindness are evident. He treated everyone well, at a time when that was not the norm, & showed how you can do that and still make great TV and movies. I can't believe he's gone.
If you’re going to steal chickens, maybe don’t advertise by wearing a chicken tie. Lesson learned.
