If you’re in Bristol (or interested in supporting work here) and want to chat about👇, give me a shout. We’ll be putting in a bid and exploring partnerships over the next few weeks.
“And if loneliness is best treated by repairing the tears in the social fabric, then that work might be one of the most powerful tools we have for resisting the far right.” Good read👇
Wow! I am not a natural bridge builder but I loved hearing these two experts reflecting on doing this work in such polarised times. They wrestled with compassion and complicity and drew lessons from slavery, aprathied, nazi Germany, and pro-life. Can't explain how good it is - just listen!

Here’s the story behind @mayorhelengodwin.bsky.social’s decision to provide free bus travel for children during school holidays. It starts with 12yr olds asking: “How can children grow up and enjoy their cities if they can’t get around them? And is it fair that some children can’t do this at all?”

Pleased to see this initiative coming out of MHCLG. We know that democracy is built and maintained in our communities. Last year in our Closing the Void research, we called for a Democratic Trust Fund. www.gov.uk/government/p...
