Made this when Splatoon 3 came out
This quirk is only present in Splatoon 3's brellas since they changed the way damage is calculated per shot to feature just a maximum cap. While in Splatoon 2 it was a pellet cap, meaning only a set amount of pellets could do damage per shot
Not count towards your damage, start adding up until it reaches the maximum cap. Essentially this means in theory, brellas can always hit their maximum damage even at max fall off, as long as enough pellets connect. This works the best against large targets like the Rainmaker shield or Crab Tank

The reason this works is because all brellas fire many more pellets than needed to reach their maximum damage per shot (i.e Splat brella firing 11 pellets per shot, even though it only needs 5 to do 81 damage). So the moment damage fall off starts applying, the extra pellets that would otherwise +

Did You Know? Brella Weapons object damage isn't affected by damage fall off at all ! I've known this for a while but felt like making this short video showing it on all 4 mains. This can be useful to keep in mind when playing rainmaker or fighting specials like Crab Tank (more info in the thread)
