We all know that any new technology that comes to people has to change thier lives in a way that they probably could not imagine living without it. Also, unless they find a way for porn and free music to subsidizes this it will not get across the chasm.

the AI rollout has easily the worst messaging of any technology I’ve ever seen
it’s not even so much the underlying tech - a lot of people like the chatbots - but the continued promises that it’s going to ruin your life and there’s nothing you can do about it
