I am not currently a Maine voter so I haven’t weighed in on this directly on social media, but here’s what I will say: please for the love of god shut up and listen to Mainers. And Shay is one of our best.
I still have concerns, but I've had Shay's early support in the back of my mind the whole time. I don't live in Maine, and if he's the candidate Maine wants, then they have my full support as a citizen of another rural, low-population state.
