I'm tempted to ask people about book characters that deserved an earlier death.
I'll start with John Rebus, you can tell when Ian Rankin gave up and started doing it for the 💲. He tried to retire him, start other characters but they didn't take off and Rebus came back in preposterous scenarios 🙄

My Sunday mornings have settled into a lovely routine of lying in bed drinking a pot of Jaunty Goat Brazilian beans brewed earlier in the week, listening to the squirrel and magpies ransacking my bird feeders while shitposting on bluesky and linkedin.
Then off to circuit training and a lazy day 😘
