Why would the UK ask to fully align like Norway? How sustainable would that really be?

There are other member states that would find it beneficial to have fewer impediments to trade with the UK, particularly in areas like the defence sector.
If the UK asked to fully align with the EU system without begging for Swiss-style special treatment no member state would get in the way
The EU isn't a fan of the Swiss deal - to put it mildly. What is more, there are member states who do quite well out of the impediements to goods trade imposed by Brexit. Why would they sacrifice those beenfits? 2/2
