We've had a great opening Day 1 for the 7th OzMRS Scientific Symposium. A/Prof Christine Chaffer started us off with a keynote presentation on her ongoing work in breast cancer while @claudine-bonder.bsky.social continued the discussion on her work in pancreatic cancer. #7thOzMRSScientificSymposium
Our Day 2 Session 2 was begun by a panel on the future of metastatic research, featuring panellists from Cancer Voices Aus, clinicians, and researchers, followed by ECR flash talks (chaired by @sharissa-latham.bsky.social and the chicken of doom).

🔬 We’re pleased to feature Prof. Alexander Swarbrick @alexswarbrick.bsky.social of the Garvan Institute, Australia. His lab uses single‑cell genomics and spatial omics to map the cellular ecosystems of breast and prostate cancer, with a particular focus on stromal–epithelial interactions.
