Little Magica Riot N64 Fan Demo Update!
I have been in the coding mines all day!
I have almost finished converting the character controller!
I was hoping to have a small video to show with it but atm there is an error that causes the game to crash at launch that I need to fix tomorrow.
I have a few guesses as to what's causing it but I'm too tired to tackle it tonight tbh so I'll be tackling it tomorrow.
I won't be getting as much done tomorrow probably because I have to prep for getting my wisdom teeth out so I'll hopefully get the game to not crash again at the very least.
Senua is the only Xbox first party game I'm actually interested in maybe getting if Microsoft ever cuts it's ties with Israel and gets Xbox taken off the BDS boycott list.
And I'm now not interested in anything from PlayStation because it's not coming to PC which isn't going to get me to buy a PS5.
I've actually been really productive today with how much of the code I've been able to convert over and optimize a little, obviously still needs more work but it's getting there.
Hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow and fix the bug
It's causing a Float point overflow so it's gotta be math related
PlayStation and Xbox are both trying to restart the console wars for some reason and are both starting the war by shooting themselves in both feet.
Xbox announcing Senua developed by Ninja Theory to try boost they're stock and not even 2 weeks later threatening to close them down is just fucking evil imo.
Imagine just announcing your game you've been working on for years and then immediately getting told your studio might be getting shut down.
Then at the same time telling Compulsion a studio that won awards last year for South of Midnight, who likely is currently concepting they're next game.
And Double Fine a studio that's been around a long time is very well respected and has a very diverse and original portfolio.
