They did the same thing with the drug testing beneficiary policy after it failed elsewhere. They are doing the same thing with bootcamps after it failed HERE. They implement these policies specifically because they fail people. Failure is the goal.

In total, $2.5 million has been paid in accommodation entitlements during this Parliamentary term to MPs who own homes in Wellington.
Whatever beneficiaries get as an accommodation supplement should be what politicians get. If they don’t think it is enough the. They need to raise the benefit allowances. #nzpol If people earning 6 figure salaries can’t afford to live on that then people earning under $25k a year certainly can’t.
