An exploration of chaos theory in population dynamics showed that unpredictable systems can often be modelled using surprisingly simple mathematics.
My first dissertation chapter is out! At sites with more seagrass, epifauna with different predator avoidance traits were eaten at different rates across the year. With no seagrass these differences disappeared. More grass = more stable predation!

Been waiting for someone to write a paper on expectations of how warming impacts Lotka-Volterra-type competition! A great example of how revisiting a classic derivation (consumer resource -> Lotka-Volterra competition) with slight modifications can yield interesting findings. Excited to read it :D .
