Most elders I come across in my life who have ever apologised for something, don't usually come through with changed actions nor do they promise to stop doing the [harmful thing].
I don't want your sorries then. Keep it to yourself until you can actually enact change.

I'm all for asians inserting generational trauma from their parents into their writings, films & such. I just wish that it wasn't always fixed with a simple sorry from their elderlies.
I don't care about apologies. I need to see changed actions going forward into the future. They rarely show that.
