Apparently Russ Abbot had a house not too far from me, which I only learned about when this news story popped up about them demolishing it.

I saw this show! Grew up near GY and parents took us to see the big names off telly. Don't remember much, Cooperman in a pedal car and RdC being there, pretty sure Russ sang at the end but could have conflated that from his TV shows.
