Also people have called me things from “arcane,” “overly clever,” “lyrical,” to “blunt and emotive,” “straightforward,” So I would drive myself crazy trying to hit whatever imaginary standard this person is asking for.
I mean, all this hate givin’ me a pretty face. I eat hate, that’s why I ain’t got a waist.
I choose the words I choose for effects I’m looking for. Sentence length is also for effect. Sometimes fragments. Sometimes I need a very long compound sentence; they can convey a complex mood. Sometimes the passive voice is needed. I am not going to write “See Spot run.” For adults.
Every time I get an LLM email I’m irritated by how inefficient it is. More adverbs than JK Rowling.
