it's actually common practice in the industry to always give a menu of options bc the client gets irked if they can't choose, and to make sure you like ALL the choices you offer bc inevitably the client will always pick the most boring and least interesting concept and now you're stuck with it

The prevalence of AI art has already made it abundantly clear what we already knew: that many clients and employers have no taste and don't give a shit about quality. But I'm starting to think that the note-givers were only ever doing it to assert dominance.
