Professor King understood that impactful researchers can benefit broader society by teaching about their #science, and that education is improved when we bring frontier research ideas in the classroom.
I was honored to give the L. Carroll King Memorial Lectures at Northwestern University, sponsored by the Chemistry Department. Professor King was a pioneering researcher and #teacher who joined Northwestern’s faculty in 1942. He was active in advancing ideas about chemical #education
I’m excited to lead this new journal that will focus on how cells interact with their environment. We are assembling a top tier editorial board, key partnerships, and looking to be the primary forum for the rapidly growing field of spatial biology.
