#5 Marshmallow Toast, 110 proof, $65
I'm a little surprised to see both wood finished bourbons at the bottom. I thought this was the Valencia.
Not as woody as the previous one.
Usually I like toasted MGP, I trust Penelope with fruity finishes more.
👍
#6 Creme Brulee, 110 proof, $70 msrp.
Just too much wood and proof compared to the other options. Good but not as good as the others.
"A beautiful moment!" ❤️

That is some finish 👏
It's dark, so no more lawn work. It's time for the Monday blind. This week, these six Penelope options take center stage.
I combined what was left from each gluten, and it's amazing. It's like a weak cigar blend.
I'll save it (late and I've had enough), compare it later.
#2 Rio, 98 proof, $80 msrp
This is the one finished in honey and amburana. One batch was just honey.
This is one of the best whiskeys I've ever tried. It tastes like a cinnamon roll.
Worth trying if given the option.
👍👍
#3 Valencia, 95 proof, $80
I thought this was one of the toasted bourbons. While it has a bit of citrus taste, it's very subtle.
Good job of marriaging bourbon and finishing.
#4 Rose Cask Finish, $40 msrp, 94 proof.
Great intro bottle to fished bourbon by Penelope. Available everywhere. Great marriage of bourbon and wine. Close to Angel's Envy.
I love it on ice.
#1 Havana, 95 proof, $80 msrp
This won on the nose, the rum comes through. A sweet dessert with a kick.
Another one to try at least once.
👍👍
