[Review] While this arc hasn't been boring, it does feel a little scattered with its priorities.
"there is no ethical consumption under capitalism" has really become a form of permission for so many people. It's intended to mean you can't buy your way out of it but people have taken it to mean "I don't actually have to try at all to do ethical things"
Read your mangaka's favorite mangaka/manga and find other titles from that era. It's a fun way to travel back into your manga maker's childhood and learn a bit more about Japanese history, via a personal pathway.
I've seen so many weird takes about the fandom and industry history I've lived through, which could easily be refuted by asking someone who lived during those years.
... Someone should really write a freaking history book.
They should invest more in their voice actors and stop laying off their staff
I am inherently untrusting of anyone who cannot abide by this. Trying to mold every big TV anime production into film level quality has just created more problems in production pipelines that were already troubled
