The VPD posted that they’re adding drones to their fleet, & shared ‘drone policies’ - part of which is when they will deploy & use drones for recording.
Part of the list includes ‘Mass event situational awareness aid’ - to a lay person, this seems to suggest they can/will use for any protests… ??
Men folk: what’s a hand-made gift you’ve received that you enjoyed? Nothing in the knitting/crocheting realm because that’s not my jam.
Since my budget for gifts is lower these days, I try to pair every gift with something hand made and I’m stumped this year.
If I’m reading this correctly (and frankly I hope I’m not) the VPD by policy can launch drones that record video footage & monitor crowds for literally any protest or group gathering.
This could have a chilling impact on freedom of speech, imo.
