I get the impression that some people aren't clear what this means. This is the UK state deciding to intervene directly in the healthcare of individual children, depriving them of medicine that their doctors have prescribed for their personal health & wellbeing, in defiance of global best practice.

Update: Young people & families today received shocking & transphobic letters from NHS.
These letters tell people that endocrine care (blockers / HRT) is being fully withdrawn in 7 weeks time (July 31st).
Forced medical detransition.
This country is a danger to trans children & young people.
As I recall, Sir Keir eradicated all the hateful racism by being competent, principled, skilled and trustworthy, as we have all seen he is. Now, we have defeated bigotry and prejudice and things are great again.

Starmer has only one play: use the power of the state to indiscriminately monitor modes of life historically outside its purview, all in the short-term hope of a few positive columns from the worst busybodies and bigots. What toilet you use, the photos on your phone, etc.
Trans adolescents accessing the only NHS route to healthcare (WellBN) have been through a stressful year long transphobic investigation.
For a year they have sat under the threat of forced medical detransition.
