Enraging and heartbreaking:
This is one of several instances I've noticed recently on both sides of the Atlantic in which fighting the anti-trans backlash is useful transferable experience for fighting the assault on universities.

We spoke to one young family this weekend, who have a six month old. They live in one room. They are limited in the work they can do. They get £50 total a week and £30 goes on baby foid. They have a bed and two chairs. No toys. Nothing.
My gf has roped a load of churches into getting their members to collect a load of food that can then be distributed to those who need it across Belfast. Many are afraid to leave their houses, even to get food. People have been delivering food to strangers since this started.
