This was a terrific film conversation.
One of the greatest scenes in cinema.
One of the most intelligent and mature conversations about film I’ve had the pleasure of having. Wonderful people. Wonderful film.
Thank you so much!
Important question: What’s the best Bigfoot movie out there? I’ve seen a fair new. But I want to see the best. Thoughts?
Alfred Hitchcock’s YOUNG AND INNOCENT (1937). Good picture, but not as good as THE 39 STEPS, with which it shares a lot of similarities. Worth it for *that shot* alone (and if you’ve seen it, you know), though it’s chock-full of delicious set pieces.
Sad to hear about the passing of Thomas Tessier. A fantastic writer of very dark fiction, THE NIGHTWALKER being a long-time favourite of mine. I had the pleasure of meeting him once but was a tad too awe-struck to ask for a photo. But what an absolute gentleman.
Oh what a night!
Koji Suzuki—the intensely talented and influential author of RING, SPIRAL, DARK WATER, and many other novels and short stories—has passed way at the age of 68. Too young. An enormous loss. The reverberations of his fiction will continue to be felt for years to come.

As someone who has only dabbled in cosmic horror, this was pretty great.
I really felt for Heath and I just wanted to give him a hug and tell him everything's going to be okay despite the obvious.
Well done.
