I have been loving this story, and I just have to say:
I often read stories with thinking how would this work as a comic, and the way this story is written works beyond amazingly in prose.
This story has made a list for me of why you should write in prose.

Stop refusing to admit women can be like you. Can be better than you, even.
And stop maiming and killing and destroying in order to preserve that fiction of superiority.
100%, I find my self running through scripts/monologues about loving the color yellow, or loving age and decay, and it does sounds so delightfully dramatic.
But honestly most speeches that don’t say “everything is right, don’t think, nothing should change” sounds like a villain’s speech
