This is important. Taxing the rich is about fairness, not a surefire way to fund our dreams so that we don't have to pay for them. Taxation to pay for public goods should be both broad-based and progressive.
I love the way this piece evokes what the 1950s / 1960s NFB films meant to those of us who grew up with them And, yes, films from the 1950s were still being shown in elementary school classrooms in the late sixties
