That time I made a four wheeled coach out of a Mantua passenger car and bobber caboose chassis
Getting a bit of paint on. It should look very nice when done.
Got the first print of the 1850's passenger car body. Fits on the Mantua chassis perfectly, and though I say so myself, looks the part.
Photo in my collection of the Sainte Catherine tunnel on the Paris-Rouen line of the Ouest railway. The tunnel was built in the 1840s, unfortunately the castle style tunnel mouth was destroyed by a landslide shortly after WWII. Today it features a plain concrete construction.
This is designed to fit on the Mantua/Tyco "1860" passenger car chassis, and is an easy way to backdate the car to an 1850s appearance. 3dptrain.com/products/185...
Illustration of the tunnel when it was new. The "sortie" castle still exists, however there's no good photos of it as it's in a highly inaccessible area and every modern picture is taken from a great distance away.
