I am intrigued & do believe SM does pose a greater harm than it does benefit for young minds.
That being said, a few caveat's:
-> I find quite often with children a prohibition approach is not as effective as an educational one.
-> could this isolate children who may depend on it for socialization

I am 100% behind @susanholtnb.bsky.social plan to ban social media use by children.
The social media giants have known for years that their platforms are harming children and teenagers. They've done nothing about it, and have tried to hide the evidence.
If they won't fix it, we should ban it.
