one of the highlights of this vacation is that my husband is reading London Falling (I have been bugging him to do this for weeks so we could talk about it) and every morning over breakfast updates me on the latest thing in it that made his brain hurt
I just!!!! it is already an issue that the same things, the same brand-name, well-known things, get all the coverage, and now the NYT is, uh, canonizing that. making it a job to make more lists about known quantities. meanwhile 99 percent of the authors out here are desperate for a DROP of attention
