Suriel is correct and I'll bang that drum every time. It's lazy writing, it's not what you actually mean, comparing your game to addiction is not the compliment you think it is. There are more varied and interesting ways to write something like this. Be better, do better.
If you think the last week has been adversarial for journos and publishers it’s because a lot of folks are asking the questions I wish a lot of others would ask when they are in the room.
Ask the tough questions when you can
I got to be a little mouse and wander the forest. Really enjoyed this one.
Jesse and Imran have been putting a shift in getting SGF previews out. Chatted to Jesse about Clutch earlier and it sounds raaaad.

Reb's piece here is excellent. The friction of Dragon's Dogma 2 is what makes it so special. It's an odd thing that pushes you to pay attention, to act like a detective all the time. TO be inquisitive in ways other games don't care to make you. It's why I love it so much and dont want it sanded down
Also please stop being so damn good at your job and writing the things I file away in my notes app for when i have time
Tip for games PR/Marketing folks: you don't wanna use the phrase "Get addicted to ____" in your email header/CTA
Clutch is easily my favorite game of Summer Game Fest. A new studio making a new game, made by humans. I get into some of that in my preview.
