Christmas 1987. I thought we'd have to take it back to the rental shop after Boxing Day.

Same for public libraries innit. "Dear Sir, thank you for kind offer of a 1973 edition of Encyclopædia Britannica. Sadly, we we can not accept this donation, and not just because volume IV is missing, etc... "
Had to say goodbye SpiderCat today. It was very sudden, but she had a good 17 years. She spent her last day on Earth sunbathing in the garden, eating grass, complaining about the food in her bowls and living her best life.

This is, in fact, a 1930 photo of two of England's greatest cricketers, Herbert Sutcliffe (aged 36, left) and Jack Hobbs (48). Jack's wife Ada is in the middle. Both opening batters, they had very modest upbringings; Jack grew up in near poverty, and Herbert was orphaned at 9.

This story, insofar as it deals with the National Railway Museum, is utterly absurd. If you rock up to a museum event expecting to dump a load of stuff on the staff, and are then surprised to be politely refused, then you clearly have no idea what museums are for. www.cityam.com/a-state-of-t...

Why can’t the young people of today dress like this? If they did they’d get a job and be able to afford a house.πŸ‘

I'd REALLY appreciate it if anyone who sees this would try out my text generators so I can iron out any remaining bugs. Please, and thank you! trek.epicrandomness.com

The first movie I ever owned on VHS was the original E.T. video release with the green spine. I received it for Christmas in 1988. What was the first movie you owned on physical media?
