This is Olha, she was 22-year-old. Russia killed her yesterday in overnight attack on Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region 🕯💔 She was seven months pregnant. Olha’s husband is currently serving in the Armed Forces, defending Ukraine.

Every day, a migrant saves someone's life in an operation, teaches a child, cleans a building, is a good neighbour or parent. That never leads the news. No gangs rush down streets thanking people who *might* be migrants. But as soon as an atrocity happens, all "migrants" are held responsible. 1/3

Bit of a one two punch from the Nottingham Post today. Student's are already at their wits' end with this administration's unwillingness to negotiate with out members and now their data has been breached. Leadership desperately needs to get their act together and actually lead.
Violent racist riots should be treated - and responded to - as a national emergency, not met with gesture politics that denounces racist violence but continues to push policies that enable it, demonising those who are now victims in their own towns and cities.
