Platner may lose, because he deserves to lose. But some ppl seem much too confident that a history of sexual misconduct and lack of qualifications is a dealbreaker for voters, in light of trump getting elected twice.

Look, if Platner wins in November - and I doubt he will - you'll get one more vote against Trump in the Senate, and that's good. But it will come at a price.
The worst of all worlds? You all mortgage the high ground, and then he loses anyway - which I think is the most likely outcome.
