The National Weather Service says at least two tornadoes touched down in the Chicago area Thursday night, and nearly 4% of ComEd customers in the region are without power Friday morning.
But in Evanston only five outages are reported by the utility — each involving fewer than five customers. And all of those outages are left over from Wednesday’s severe weather.
