Our thoughts are with everyone caught up in the violence in Belfast.
Many politicians have used Monday's tragic incident to inflame tensions & damage community relations.
We reject this.
We need our leaders to oppose this racist violence.
There is far more that unites us than divides us.

Disappointing that Andy Burnham doesn't plan to bin the earned settlement model if he's the next Labour leader.
If enacted, it will make peoples' lives harder, plunge kids into poverty & create a class of people with second class rights.
It needs scrapping now.

The Equality Act legally protects people from discrimination.
The PSED requires public authorities to have due regard to fostering good relations between different groups.
No politician who values diversity and social cohesion should want to scrap these things.
