I am so tired of people talking to me like I just don't know what I'm talking about. Like whatever it is, I am probably mistaken. The CONSTANT second-guessing, double-checking, incorrecting, the assumption that I don't know basics and didn't earn my credentials by doing the work... it's exhausting.

I’m ready to retire the Tan Suit discourse. Yes the Black person was held to a double standard. That’s the whole deal. I wish the conversation were geared towards the fact that to this day every Black person you know is held to & bound by their own personal Tan Suit standard by their colleagues.
