Best action squad?
1st Squad of 'Maxwell's 87th Mordians' reporting for duty.
Tip of the cap to @grumpykiltpin.bsky.social the print god and @edpaintskrieg.bsky.social who has inspired this work with his own legendary Mordians.

Starter Painting this lot on friday and honestly it was really fun to just keep going, adding colour and building it up.
The classic perry minis really had such a style to them.
Probably 12 hours total paint time.
The prints came with an alternative Sergeant who I really like and the crouching lasgunner letting you rank them in the classic style.
Thanks for having a look at these.
And if you can let me know your favorite guard regiment.
😁👍

I got into a real grove with these guys. Hoping to add a few more and expanded this enlarged Platoon into a small company.
Thank you again @grumpykiltpin.bsky.social

The Hermes Veletaris Sentinel may be an antiquated design, but is has served the Imperium well for millennia. The 18th Light Mordian still operates two squadrons of these machines in its first company, like these two examples from the Vardane City campaign.
Discovered that seated Mordian heavy bolter gunners fit nicely onto the back of Hermes light Sentinels. These will make great alternative scout vehicles for my Mordian cityfight army.
Colm Corbec all done.
Other than the shadows on his arms being a little dark, I’m happy with him.
