I have so many thoughts on the failure of the Xbox brand, and the company's poor strategies. Asha Sharma and Matt Booty sent out an email titled 'This Cannot Continue' and outline the missteps that the top brass has made, including buying up IPs only to not use them.

I cannot express just how much I enjoyed the final scenes of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Holy shit do I love seeing shit head characters get what's coming to em.

Also they should fire Matt Booty. He was right there alongside Phil Spencer screwing people over, he should not keep his job if he's about to do yet another round of job cutting.

To run a business like Xbox you have to keep a strong backbone. Speaking realistically, it's an irrelevant platform without exclusives and hard support for continuous creative endeavors. Instead they did the opposite. They barely kept that philosophy going with the 360 then dropped it with XBone.

The only way that studio doesn't get shuttered by shareholders now is to do one thing and one thing only: make original games you can only play on an xbox console. Not even gamepass. I know, its crazy, a game studio can't survive by making games right? Turns out nothing else could replace that.

Phil Spencer's decision to flip flop back and forth between a subscription service that is bloated, not profitable, and damaging to games... and just releasing stuff normally was a great way to ensure a total waste of money and make the firing of hundreds, if not thousands of employees inevitable.
