The banksias are flowering in Kinglake National Park north of Melbourne and I’ve been looking for feathertailed gliders. It’s been largely fruitless until tonight when I hit the jackpot with this individual. They’re the world’s smallest gliding mammal with an average weight of only TWELVE GRAMS 🥺
