When I first made a big push into art, I remember sharing pieces that I was really proud of, that people would talk down to when they found out I followed a tutorial on "how to paint a beach sunset" or whatever.
But like, dawg even if that's all I ever did again I'd take that over ay-eye dogshit
I really want @scottkersey.bsky.social to see this because he's one of the few people out there that advocates for tracing refs and whatnot and his support always made me feel just a little bit better about my shit
Like dude why do I have so many boxes and binders of cards? Why did I try collecting complete sets? Why am I not jamming these precons? Why do I have so many decks?
WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE.
I look at my MTG collection as both a labor of love and as a sign of just how good the game is when you give it a chance.
So it's actually pretty hard for me to think about getting rid of a lot of it.
But god damn does this shit take up so much fucking space.
Just the fact that I wanted to learn how to do something from someone else shouldn't take away from the fact that my brush strokes are gonna be different, my lines, my colours, my perspective. It'll all be its own.
To hell with whether or not I sculpted it from my minds eye. I still made it
Hey y’all! I’m still Doing these and have added a ton of new cards to the list!
Because of that if you want to see the list and pick a card I’m dropping the price to 5$
+1 for Em.
Killer work, insanely clean lines and lettering, wonderful person to work with.
Go ask her to paint you some really cool art. You will not regret it 😊
Man...
I miss playing Final Fantasy XIV
Breakin' down my budget cube and some EDH and Oathbreaker decks today. Thinkin' about CanLander and Standard, missing Pioneer. Trying to figure out what I'm doing with my proverbial Magic life after CommandFest Tacoma, which I am really excited for
