Choka, five years old at our Ithumba Reintegration Unit, took exception to a small bird and aimed a tail swipe and a kick. The bird saw it coming and was airborne well before the foot arrived. Rescued from the Ndara Plains in 2021, found beside his mother after she didn't survive the drought.
