We have bad housing and we try to fix it with energy in the least effective way. Fix the homes! Otherwise vulnerable people will keep on suffering and more and more will die from living in homes that are really just sheds. Also renters’ rights so that we can afford to live in good homes. 1/2
We so need this hierarchy. My rental home is 0.3/10 rated energy efficiency. A draughty shed. According to the hype on here, we should force my landlord to install AC and I should get plug-in solar and battery for this shed. Utterly incoherent! 1/2
